|If Product malfunctions, and is covered by the Manufacturer’s warranty, the Manufacturer will inspect product and advise if covered by their warranty. IMPORTANT: Please call or email us before you return a Product. Our returns postal address is PO Box 911, Morayfield, Queensland, 4506.
Returns policy for change of mind must be within 30 days after receipt of Product. If there is no proof of the delivery date it will be assumed to be 3 business days from the date of dispatch of the product from our warehouse. The product must be returned to us within 5 business days of your request to return your product. We do not accept change of mind returns on items outside the return window with the exception during the “Holiday Returns” period.
You must request a return by email before returning the goods. You must return the product at your own cost and you must comply with the directions for returning the product that our staff provide to you. The product will remain the customers responsibility during transit until the Product is received at the address supplied by our staff. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may occur during transit.
If a product arrives to you damaged or faulty you must notify us within 2 business days of receipt, otherwise we reserve the right to deny your claim.
Change of mind returns policy
The following conditions apply to change of mind returns:
- All item packaging, documentation (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the returned items. Packaging must be unopened and seals intact (where applicable).
- Items must be in new and unworn condition.
- Any items that, because of customer negligence, misuse or tampering are, damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition, will not be accepted for return.
- Any item(s) that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.
These conditions apply only to change of mind returns and do not apply to items that are returned because they are faulty.
Customer Damage due to customer negligence, misuse or tampering , or damaged / missing parts and is returned in unsellable condition are not able to be returned for change of mind.
Under our returns policies, the 14 day returns window for returnable items purchased between 1 November and 31 December of a year is extended to allow the item to be returned until 15 January of the following year.
Expected Timeframe for Managing Returns
Timeframe for processing returns is 5 business days from receipt by us.
You must return the product at your own cost and you must comply with the directions for returning the product that our staff provide to you. The product will remain your responsibility during transit until they are received at the address supplied by our staff. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may occur during transit.
If the product has been opened and or activated, we will not accept the return unless it is defective.
In most instances, where you experience an issue with a product that comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer will be able to provide a faster assessment and remedy. Most manufacturers will have dedicated Support centres with access to more detailed knowledge on their respective products, in addition to better access to spare parts. You may prefer to contact the manufacturer directly to seek a resolution.
If you would prefer Deals 4 Mates Pty Ltd to assist you, and choose not to go to the manufacturer, then our team will of course be happy to assist you and you can contact us directly by email or phone.
Some of our Apple Products are Certified as Refurbished by Apple Incand the Warranty Period starts on the day that the device is activated via Apple Inc. The Warranty for these products is provided by Apple and not Deals 4 Mates Pty Ltd. If your Apple Product becomes faulty during the Warranty Period, you must first attempt to have it repaired under your Apple Warranty at your nearest Apple Store or Authorised Apple Service Provider.
If Apple decline to cover your Product under their warranty, then we are unable to accept any warranty claims for the Apple Product. If an Apple Product is not an Apple Certified Refurbished product, we provide a 6-month Warranty Period from the date of delivery.
Technical Assessment if Product malfunctions within the applicable Warranty Period
Your item will be assessed by our technicians or sent to the manufacturer. While we endeavour to complete all assessments as quickly as possible, we request that you allow us to 5 business days once we have received the item.
Please note: When we have sent your device to the manufacturer please allow up to an additional 20 business days to assess and repair, however you will of course be notified.
Items not eligible for return
Under our returns policy for items shipped and sold by us, we do not accept returns of the following items, and you may also elect not to accept return of these items (except as required under the Australian Consumer Law):
- Items classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases
- Any product missing the serial number or universal product code (UPC)
- Downloadable software products
- Online subscriptions after they have been accessed
- Gift cards (except as required by law)
- Opened or activated software
